Dr Elangasinghe treated my toe nail fungus that had completely destroyed all my toenails on at least one foot over a twenty-five year period. This happened despite intervention from numerous doctors and differing treatments. This had led to longstanding athelete's foot for around five or more years that was passed off by my doctor as 'difficult to treat'. Dr Elangasinghe treated the toenails and feet over a two year period with great success. The athletes foot and toenail fungus completely cleared and my toenails even grew back. I cannot recommend Dr Elangasinghe more highly for his patience, attention to detail, extensive knowledge, and persistence with treating issues.

I was a Dr. Elangasinghe’s patient for approximately 18 months under a low dosage isotretinoin treatment for cystic acne. I was extremely delighted with his guidance and support throughout the treatment. The results are excellent and I would definitely recommend and trust him 100%!

I was referred to Dr Elangasinghe by my Doctor to treat a lesion on my face.This turned out to be skin cancer.Dr Elangasinghe was very kind and understanding, easy to talk to .He operated on the lesion and another which he thought might turn into cancer if not treated.I had a check up yesterday and was discharged.I cannot thank him enough for the consideration given and the remarkable job he did.The scar is virtually invisible.

Lovely Doctor I wish I’d gone to him years ago instead of suffering in silence about my acne cysts . Kind empathic manner with honest explanations and realistic time schedule for healing process . I have the most utter respect for GP.s but you really do need a Dermatologist for acne . I tried everything before I went to see Dr Vinod Elangasinghe from gels to creams to antibiotics which to be honest the later made it worse . Roaccutane is working I feel and look so much better on my face and back . Thank you x

I would like you to note for your records the following in relation to the above named Consultant, who I have seen at BMI Thornbury In Sheffield in recent months. Dr Elangasinghe has provided care for myself Mr Jack H Webster following referral from my GP. He is the most pleasant person to speak to. He dealt with me as an individual and made me feel comfortable about what was going to happen. His explanations about what was causing the problems with my skin, and in the treatment needed to put this right were very clear and easy to understand. He arranged for medication to be prescribed and gave clear instructions as to how the dosage needed to change day by day. He also arranged for me to see other doctors for further investigations, as I think that he suspected that there may be other underlying conditions, and as a result I have now been diagnosed with prostate cancer, something which may have gone unnoticed for some time otherwise. I can’t praise Dr Elangasinghe enough for the care that he has provided. Regards Jack webster
